I feel like joining the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission is a good way to start getting involved with the community <br />and maybe make an impact not only for my own kids someday but <br />Roseville's kids and for all of the community that utilizes the public <br />space. <br />What is your view of the role <br />I believe the Commission is a resourcefor council members to utilize <br />of this Commission? <br />to get insight into issues involving the parks and recreational activities <br />throughout the city. The commission should also be a place for ideas <br />to form and be brought to the council for action. <br />What specific skills or <br />I am a 2012 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a BA in <br />experiences do you have that <br />political science. I am currently a Purchasing <br />Specialist II working with Pharmacy, Imaging, Orthopedic and Patient <br />Monitoring product lines. In this roll I handle sourcing, backorders, <br />requests from the various Fairview hospitals and clinics while providing <br />good communication throughout the system. I also work part time, <br />generally Mondays and Saturdays, at the Coon Rapids Ice Center as a <br />Shift Supervisor. In this role I am the active Manager on Duty directing <br />33 <br /> <br />
