REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: 2/25/2019 <br /> Item No.: 7.f <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Discuss 2019-2020 City Goals and Priorities <br /> <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Since 2015, the City Council and staff have used the Policy Priority Plan (PPP) to identify strategic <br />3 priorities for Roseville. The most recent PPP was approved in July of 2017 and is included as Attachment <br />4 A. <br />5 On January 7, 2019, the City Council indicated they would like to review and update the current PPP for <br />6 2019 and 2020. (Attachment A). <br />7 Included as Attachment B is the 2017-2018 PPP with an update through the end of 2018. Staff would <br />8 suggest using this document as basis of discussion on what should be the goals and priorities for 2019 and <br />9 2020. <br />10 Also for City Council consideration the Organizational Priorities prepared by the Department Heads earlier <br />11 <br />12 Attachment D. <br />13 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />14 Adopted city priorities for City operations and services that will provide guidance for department work <br />15 plans and the 2020 Budget. <br />16 F INANCIAL I MPACTS <br />17 As each priority is carried out, there may be implementation costs.
