<br />44 <br /> <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />MEETING, THURSDAY, JANUARY l3th,1949,8 PM. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date as a continuation of regular <br />meeting of January 4th,1949.The following members were present:Mueller,Membrez,' <br />carlson,Hammersten and Pothen.Ira Karon,attorne,y and Frank Leinen,treasurer were <br />also present. <br /> <br />The Clerk submitted the financial report for the year ending December 3lst,1948 <br />showing the following balances on December 3lst,1949: <br />General Fund . . .$1,129.26 <br />street Fund . . . . .. 722.23 <br />Fire Maint.Fund . . 1,903.67 ~ <br />Fire Equip.Fund . . . . 2,058.73 _ <br />Total balance all funds . $5,1;11.3.1;19 <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson to accept the financial report as presented <br />and that same be published in the St.Paul Legal Ledger according to law.Roll call: <br />Ayes-(5),Nays-(0). <br /> <br />In connection with the establishement of a MUnicipaltiquor store in the Village of <br />Roseville,Mueller moved,seconderl by Pothen that the Village Clerk be paid $100.00 <br />per month in addition to compemsation as Village Clerk for performance of his <br />duties of managing and operating the Municipal Liquor store, effective Januar,y 15th,49. <br />Roll Ca11:Ayes-(4) Mueller,Hammersten,Pothen and Carlson.
