Attachment A <br />Project Manager Vision <br />SPACC proposes to staff the Rice- <br />initiative will be housed within a newly created division called WorkStream, which offers professional services to <br />smaller business associations and chambers of commerce as well as public-private partnerships and community <br />initiatives like the Rice and Larpenteur Gateway Alliance (see WorkStream Informational Flyer in the Appendix). <br /> <br />The Executive Director will convene and staff the Short-Term/Interim Alliance, help build and support the Long- <br />Term Alliance, actively seek economic development opportunities, lead the development of a multi-year <br />fundraising strategy and support vibr <br />project manager with the support of Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce staff resources. B Kyle, President and <br />CEO, will assist the Alliance with strategic direction, fundraising, and contribute her economic development <br />economic development, public policy, and event planning. SPACC also has a network of experienced consultants <br />ready to support grant-writing, marketing, placemaking and events (list of some examples provided below). A <br />portion of the budget has been set aside to hire outside support to build upon our internal capacity. Alliance <br />members will have the opportunity to review and approve all sub-contracts to meet project needs. <br /> <br />The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization, will serve as the fiscal <br />agent for all sponsorship revenue and grants earned by the Gateway Alliance. SPACC proposes to serve as the <br />project lead on the Rice and Larpenteur Gateway Alliance for the first two years, with a renewable annual <br />contract and budget to be renegotiated each year with municipal alliance members (Maplewood, Roseville, Saint <br />Paul, and Ramsey County). After two years, the Alliance may decide to retain continued professional services from <br />SPACC for staffing and project management. <br /> <br />Team Approach <br />The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce has a team of experienced and dedicated professionals to support and <br />advise the Alliance in the achievement of its goals (See Key Personnel). In addition to the Executive Director and <br />SPACC President & CEO, the initiative will be advised and supported by SPACC experts in: <br /> Economic Development <br /> Fundraising <br /> Marketing & Communications <br /> Event Planning <br /> Membership Services <br /> Public Affairs <br /> Nonprofit Management <br /> <br />Potential Partner Agencies <br />To meet the broad needs of the Rice and Larpenteur Gateway Vision Plan, SPACC has developed a network of <br />local professional service providers that the Alliance can call upon to complete specific tasks and deliverables. <br />Below are a few examples of willing partner entities that can support our work to revitalize Rice and Larpenteur.
