Roseville Public Works, Environment <br />and Transportation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br />1 1. Introduction / Roll Call <br />2 Acting Chair Wozniak called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. and <br />3 at his request, Public Works Director Marc Culver called the roll. <br />4 <br />5 Present: Acting Chair Joe Wozniak; and Members Michael Joyce, Member <br />6 Michael Kruse, and Nancy Misra <br />7 <br />8 Absent: Chair Brian Cihacek, Members Thomas Trainor, and Martin Kors <br />9 (Excused) <br />10 <br />11 Staff Present: Public Works Director Marc Culver; and City <br />12 Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer <br />13 <br />14 2. Public Comments <br />15 Ms. Keeley, East Metro Regional Manager for Conservation Minnesota, introduced <br />16 herself to the Commission and announced on April 13'' from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. <br />17 at the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Congregation at 511 Groveland Avenue <br />18 in Minneapolis there is an Environmental Commission Conference that <br />19 Conservation Minnesota is co -sponsoring Alliance for Sustainability, Green Step <br />20 Cities, and Metro Certs. She noted breakfast and lunch will be provided. She <br />21 indicated there is a signup online. <br />22 <br />23 Acting Chair Wozniak stated Green Steps was mentioned as a part of the event and <br />24 the Commission is responsible for the City addressing the Green Step goals and he <br />25 believed the City is at Green Step three. <br />26 <br />27 Mr. Culver stated the City is at step two but plan to be at step three this year. <br />28 <br />29 Ms. Keeley stated there will be a couple of Commissions at the event at step four <br />30 and working towards step five which might be a good resource to ask questions. <br />31 <br />32 Acting Chair W ozniakthought it would be helpful for the Commission to meet with <br />33 other city commissions that address the same topics that Roseville does to learn <br />34 from them. <br />Page 1 of 13 <br />
