EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * x * x x x x x x x x x , * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 22nd day of April, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten, and Roe; and none were absent. Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11592 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR CITY HALL PARKING LOT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Tuesday, April 16, at 1:00 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Base Bid Alternate Bid Base+Alternate Bid Pember Companies, Inc $678,907.60 $37,826.00 $716,733.60 T.A. Schifsky& Sons, Inc. $736,925.00 $33,890.00 $770,815.00 Meyer Contracting, Inc $851,388.50 $35,600.00 $886,988.50 Engineers Estimate $662,790.00 $29,890.00 $692,680.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Pember Companies, Inc is the lowest responsible bidder for the Base Bid plus Alternate at the tabulated price of$716,733.60 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Pember Companies, Inc. for $716,733.60 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota:
