Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br />Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />DATE:May 15, 2019ITEM:8A <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION:Engagement Project Discussion <br />Background <br />Over the past several months, the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission has <br />been working on a two-prong approach to the directive provided by the City Council at their <br />joint meeting on March 26, 2018. <br />The HRIEC is scheduled to meet with the City Council to discuss their annual work plan and <br />more specifically to seek further direction regarding the second phase (Outreach) to the <br />Engagement Project they have been working on. Tonights discussion will focus on what specific <br />next steps the commission would like to recommend to the City Council and/or seek additional <br />clarification on. <br />rd <br />Staff has compiled a draft staff report for the June 3joint meeting as a starting point to help <br />the commission develop their recommendations.
