Ethics Commission Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday, October 11, 2017 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />1 <br />2 Mr. Trudgeon stated every year each Commission is supposed to appoint someone to be <br />3 on the Ethics Commission. Currently, the HRIE Commission has not yet appointed a <br />4 person, but plans to do so soon. They may want to consider holding the Ethics Committee <br />5 meeting at a certain time of year when they know they have someone from each <br />6 Commission. However, people rotate off Commissions, so the problem will continue to <br />7 be there. <br />8 <br />9 Chair Cihacek suggested they consider requiring appointments by May since <br />10 Commission Member terms begin in April. It could be a standing item on the April <br />11 agenda. <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 the Ethics Committee at the same meeting that new Commissioners come on and the <br />15 Chair is elected. <br />16 <br />17 Chair Cihacek stated the Public Works Commission does not have any new people <br />18 coming in this year. <br />19 <br />20 Mr. Trudgeon suggested it still be part of the agenda annually just to reaffirm those who <br />21 were appointed. <br />22 <br />23 Member Bull stated the Planning Commission also includes appointments with the <br />24 election of officers. <br />25 <br />26 VII. Adjourn <br />27 Commissioner Bull moved to adjourn the meeting at approximately 6:29 p.m., seconded <br />28 by Commissioner Hodder <br />29 <br />30 Ayes: 4 <br />31 Nays: 0 <br />32 Motion carried. <br />33 <br />34 Respectfully submitted, <br />35 Patrick J.
