EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of June 2001, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Mastel, Klausing, Maschka and Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: None Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9893 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 10 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 703.04BIA OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR JOHN GOODDING, 3180 WEST OW ASSO BOULEVARD (PF 3300) WHEREAS, John Goodding has requested a 10 foot variance from Section 703.04B1a of the Roseville City Code in coordination with City's Pavement Management Program; and WHEREAS, Mr. Godding's property is located at 3180 West Owasso Boulevard and legally described at as: Lot 2, Lake Owasso Park, Ramsey County, Minnesota (PID # 022923110002) WHEREAS, Section 703.04Bla requires a 26 foot maximum driveway apron width in the public right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the Mr. Goodding's existing driveway is 36 feet in width to access the existing detached garage and access drive towards the home; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the variance request by Mr. Goodding and recommended (6-0) to approve the request, based on findings outlined in Section 4 of the project report dated 6/12/01. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John Gooding a 10 foot variance from Section 703.04Bla of the Roseville City Code based on the findings in Section 4 of the project report dated 6/26/01. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Goedeke, Mastel, Klausing, Maschka and Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 1
