The Public heari:1g on th8 Swanson rezoning was continued. The Village <br />Hall wó.s nearl:¡r filled to C'apac7.ty anò ttle majority were still opposed to the rezoning <br />o~ the same grotmd outlined at the meeting of Jur.o 20th. There also seemed to be a <br />question on the accuracy of the certificate of the st. Mr.Hazen,attorney <br />for the opposition who were present in great nw~ber pointed outthat the petition <br />süs:Ilitted b3r ~:1r.Swanson was not complete and did not have 50% of the propcrt~r owners <br />wi thin 500 feet signed the petition. He pointed out that uany joint ov;ners had !':ot each <br />signed as husband and wife but one signed for both which is illegal.In the final analysis <br />the YO'3cords show that there are ?D owners cour.ting husbé'nd anù rife as seperate owners <br />ar::d only 33 owners had properly signed the petition. <br />Hr. Courtney, .'3.t torney, pinch-hi t ting for ;,1r.
