Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meeting minutes of May 7, 2019. <br />4.Park Dedication Review and Recommendation – 2986 and 2994 Old <br />Highway 8 <br />Included in your packet is a proposal for a 4-lot development utilizing two properties <br />located at 2986 and 2994 Old Highway 8 County Road B West. <br />The entire proposal includes two lots on 1.29 acres. Two lots already exist with two <br />new lots being created. <br />The project qualifies for Park Dedication. The cash amount for the two additional lots <br />would be $8,000 ($4,000 per additional lot).The land amount would be 10% of 1.29 <br />acres or .129 acre. <br />This parcel is located in Constellation (a). The Parks and Recreation System Master <br />Plan does not identify parcels to be acquired in this area. <br />Included in your packet is a larger and smaller parcel location map, a lot layout <br />provided by the developer, a constellation map,the Park Dedication Ordinance, <br />information from the Master Plan Parkand Open Space acquisition goals and <br />policies. <br />The Developer has indicated that the cash in lieu of land dedication is preferred. <br />The role of the Commission is to review the proposal and make a recommendation <br />on whether to accept land, cash or a combination to satisfy the Park Dedication. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discuss and make a recommendation to accept <br />land, cash or a combination to satisfy the Park Dedication requirements. <br />5.Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) Signage Review <br />There has been a long-term discussion and desire to provide more significant <br />identification signage for the Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) leading up the <br />pathway from the parking lot to the building. This is to provide clarity between the <br />Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WRC) and to point out that there is a building in the <br />2 <br /> <br />
