<br />The VillRge Council met on the above date in a regular session with the following
<br />members present: Mueller ,Hammersten, Willmus ,Carlson, ]{¡embrez. Frank Leinen. Treas. and
<br />Ira Karon were also present.
<br />The Clerk read the rninutes of meetings of July 18th and 25th and on motion by Mueller
<br />seconded by Hammersten,the minutes were approved as read.Roll Call:A.,ves-(5),Nays-(O).
<br />Soren G.Sorenson requested a special permit to reside in a basement at 2185 Hadèington
<br />Road,Lot 4.Block 2,Westmore Aòd. for 2 months. Carlson moved,seconded by Hammersten to
<br />issue a permit for 60 da;Ts from the date hereof.Roll Call:Ayes-(5),Nays-(0).
<br />Mrs Alex Burback requested a special permit to live in a garage she purchased from
<br />Lindstrom,Junior at 2571 No Rice St. Hamrnerstcn moved,seconded by Carlson to issue a
<br />permit for 6 months from the date hereof.Roll Call:Ayes-(5),Nays-(0).
<br />Arpiar Tufenkjian owner of Lot 2,Block 4,Hinn.Realty Lake Owasso Add. requested a
<br />permit to contruct a garage closer that the required 30 foot set back as prescribed in
<br />the Village ordinance. His petition was attached to an affidavit signed by 10 property
<br />owners in-dicating that they are not opposed to this request. Mueller moved,seconded by
<br />Hamr.,ersten to issue a special permit to expire in 10 years from the date hereof allowing
<br />Mr.Tufenkjian to erect his garage with a minimum set-back of 2 feet from street right-of-

<br />Hammersten moved,seconded by Carlson to adopt Ordinance N. 128 changing the name
<br />of Orrock st. to Ra~aond Ave.Roll Call:.\yes-(5),Nays-(0).
<br />H&illnersten moved,seconded by Mueller to adopt Ordinance No.129 prohibiting the
<br />construction of driveways without a permit.Roll Call:~ves-(5),Nays-(0).
<br />The Village Engineer was instructed to make a survey on location of placing signs
<br />"Village of Roseville" and report to the Council.
<br />Willmus moved,seconded by Carlson that Mayor Wm.A.Mueller be appointed Manager of the
<br />Municipal Liquor stores and in that capacity do all the buying of the stock, Frank
<br />Weinholzer to be part time assistant manager,.John Docherty to be clerk in store No.1
<br />aDd Llike Walsh to be clerk in store No.2.Roll Call:Ayes-(S),Nays-(O).
<br />Hæili~ersten moved,seconded by Carlson to increase the compensation of the Village Clerk
<br />to t150.00 per month affective August lst,1950.Roll Call:Ayes-(5),Nays-(O).
