Council and City Manager Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br /> City Manager Trudgeon reviewed the September 9th City Council meeting, September <br /> 16th EDA meeting, City Council Work Session, and September 23rd city Council meeting <br /> agendas. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte indicated the Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br /> had an event two weeks ago and the chair from the Met Council was speaking. Roseville <br /> was very well represented there. She thanked her fellow Councilmembers, Mayor Roe <br /> and the Commissioners who chose to come. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte noted she attended her first meeting for Northeast Youth and <br /> Family Services following the end of Mayor Roe's term. <br /> Mayor Roe added on the meeting with Chair Slawik, a pretty healthy message about <br /> transit was sent out and bus routes and accessibility for people that work in Roseville and <br /> things like that. He thought the follow through will be where the proof comes from in <br /> terms of how that happens, but the message was pretty loud and clear. <br /> Councilmember Etten updated the Council on the Rice/Larpentuer community event that <br /> occurred. He noted it was very successful in bringing people out from many different <br /> parts of the community and was a great start to something. <br /> Mayor Roe indicated regarding the Rice/Larpentuer process there was a meeting today to <br /> start developing a long-term structure about a Board to guide that forward and include <br /> business owners as well as property owners, residents, people representing the communi- <br /> ties, and the county. <br /> 11. Councilmember Initiated Future Agenda items and Future Agenda Review <br /> 12. Adjourn <br /> Groff moved, Etten seconded, adjournment of the meeting at approximately 8:17 p.m. <br />
