Public Comment Invited <br />3. Approval of Minutes of the September 3, 2019 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of September 3, 2019. Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meeting minutes of September 3, <br />2019. <br /> <br />4. Recreation Review – Park Facilities Focus <br />As possible, throughout the year and seasons, various staff members attend your <br />meeting to discuss what is going on in their particular area and gather your thoughts <br />and feedback. <br /> <br />This month, Christian Swanberg, Recreation Supervisor (park facilities focus) will be <br />at the meeting to provide you an overview of park facilitiesand special use permits. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review, update, provide feedback. <br />. <br />5. Discuss Joint Meeting with the City Council <br />At your meeting in September, you discussed an upcoming joint meeting with the <br />City Council to check back in on the proposed Accelerated Emerald Ash Borer <br />(EAB) Program. Other updates or discussions could be done as well as you feel <br />necessary. <br /> <br />The City Council meeting starts at 6 p.m. and typically, you are the first business <br />item on the agenda. All times are approximate. Previously, you have gathered at <br />6:00 p.m. in the Hawthorne Room downstairs in City Hall to wait for when the City <br />Council is ready. <br /> <br />A Request for City Council Action (RCA) is in your packet for you to review. <br /> <br />This will be your opportunity to prepare and finalize the RCA and approach, as you <br />are comfortable. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discussion agenda, assignments and approach. <br /> <br />6.
