EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 7th day of October, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11641 APPROVAL OF GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE FOR GRANT ELIGIBLE WORK BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Legislature has appropriated $8,737,000 in general obligation bond funds for grants to municipalities to reduce inflow and infiltration in their public system infrastructure, administered by Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES); and WHEREAS, application to participate in the MCES 2017 Municipal Grant Program was made on August 24, 2017, for reimbursement of the construction costs of various sanitary sewer system projects; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to enter into a Grant agreement to finalize the reimbursement process. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA,the Grant Agreement for the MCES 2017 Municipal Inflow and Infiltration grant is approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute the Grant Agreement, subject to minor modifications approved by the City Attorney. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Laliberte and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:Willmus,Groff,Etten,Laliberte and Roe and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
