In addition to the plat, the <br />4 approvals sought in PF2032 involved an amendment of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) approved in <br />5 1987. In some cases, like the Centre Pointe office park development, PUDs approved in the past <br />6 continue to be relevant to the present zoning regulations affecting a given property. In the 1980s and <br />7 early 1990s, however, PUDs were not the same kind of tool as we understand them today. In this case, <br />8 the 1987 “PUD” simply involved a standard rezoning, paired with a Special Use Permit, which allowed <br />9 more than one principal structure to be built on a single tax parcel. Technically, then, the proposal to <br />10 replat and further develop the property in 1989 represented a “PUD amendment,” even though the <br />11 subsequent development situated only one principal structure on each of the replatted lots—thereby <br />9f RCA <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
