Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte, and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon and <br /> City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> City Manager Trudgeon requested removal of Item 7C (Consider a Request to Issue an <br /> Administrative Citation for Unresolved Violations of City Code At 1454 Shryer Avenue), <br /> due to the resident pulling a permit to construct a shed which eliminates the code issue. <br /> Groff moved, Etten seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. <br /> Mr. Benjamin Sley,2731 Mackubin Street, Roseville <br /> Mr. Sley indicated he was at the meeting to talk about an incident regarding a collision <br /> involving his son on Victoria Street on Sunday, September 15th. He indicated his son was <br /> severely injured by a motorist who was going approximately 40 MPH when she hit his <br /> son. His son was thrown in the air sixty feet and landed on his head and shoulders and <br /> suffered severe injuries. He explained he wanted to talk about the investigation into the <br /> case because no charges have ever been brought against the perpetrator and he thought it <br /> was wrong that the investigation is not thorough or complete. <br /> Mr. Sley indicated he is a former Special Assistant United States Attorney, an Assistant <br /> County Attorney, a Judge Advocate in the Marine Corp, and has worked with one of the <br /> largest and most prestigious law firms in the country, The Jones Day Law Firm. He ex- <br /> plained he has a background to be able to speak legally to this issue. <br /> Mr. Sley explained the reason why this investigation is not thorough and not complete is <br /> that the City Attorney never contacted the main witness in the case, his son. His son was <br /> never asked what he remembered or what his practice is in crossing an intersection. He <br /> explained his son is a very experienced running,jogging thousands of miles in New York <br /> City and Los Angeles and in Minnesota and as a custom of habit always looks before <br />
