Introductionsto Include Youth Commission Applicant <br />This is an opportunity for all commission members to introduce themselves and indicate <br />why you had interest in the Parks and Recreation Commission and for youth commission <br />applicant Andrew Kim to introduce himself. Andrew’sapplication is included in your packet. <br /> <br />Vice-Chair Hoag met with Andrew to get to know him and invited him to your meeting to sit <br />in. If it works for all, the next step is to make a recommendation to the City Council. It does <br />not need to happen at this meeting, but could if it makes sense. <br /> <br />2. Public Comment Invited <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes of the November 7, 2019 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of November 7, 2019. Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meetingminutes of November 7, 2019. <br /> <br />4. Recreation Review – Harriet Alexander Nature Center <br />As possible, throughout the year and seasons, various staff members attend your meeting <br />to discuss what is going on in their particular area and gather your thoughts and feedback. <br />This month, Debbie Cash, Recreation Supervisor (Harriet Alexander Nature Center focus) <br />will be at the meeting to provide you an overview of program offerings. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review, update, provide feedback. <br /> <br />5. Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Proposal Continued Discussion <br />Continuing previous discussions,included in your packet is another draft of framework for a <br />Request for Proposals (RFP) for the potential of an accelerated EAB Program. Staff will <br />provide a general overview at your meeting. <br /> <br />Please plan to review and provide input as this is in a development stage. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discussion and provide input. <br /> <br />6.
