Introductions <br /> <br />2. Public Comment Invited <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes of the January 7, 2020 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of January 7, 2020. Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meeting minutes of January 7, 2020. <br /> <br />4. Recreation Review – Adult Athletics and Outdoor Facilities <br />As possible, throughout the year and seasons, various staff members attend your meeting <br />to discuss what is going on in their particular area and gather your thoughts and feedback. <br /> <br />This month, Ryan Harper, Recreation Supervisor (Adult Athletics and Outdoor Facilities) <br />will be at the meeting to provide you an overview of his area. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review and provide feedback. <br /> <br />5. Forestry Task Force Discussion <br />Based upon City Council support, Brian Cihacek, Chair of the Public Works, Environment <br />and Transportation Commission asked for two Parks and Recreation Commission <br />members to serve on an ad hoc Forestry Task Force. You identified Vice-Chair Hoag and <br />Commissioner Dahlstrom. <br /> <br />The Task Force met on January 22, 2020. Vice-Chair Hoag will plan to provide an update <br />at the meeting as Commissioner Dahlstrom will be on a planned vacation. <br /> <br />Included in your packet for background information is Chapter 204 (Parks and Recreation <br />Commission) and 706 (Urban Forest Management) of the City Code. <br /> <br />This item will be a future agenda item to allow for updates and for you to give regular <br />feedback and guidance for Commissioners Hoag and Dahlstrom. Please plan to provide <br />input. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discussion and provide input. <br /> <br />6. Consider Project Contributions by the Friends of Roseville Parks (FOR Parks) and <br />the Roseville Central Park Foundation <br />This item has been discussed conceptually at several meetings and has been evolving as <br />discussions have occurred with staff and the groups. In order to move forward, it is now at <br />a point to consider a recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Commission and <br />acceptance by the City Council. <br />2 <br /> <br />
