Additional resources to boost results <br />In addition to our team, tools and resources, we provide opportunities for you to interact and network with other communities participating <br />in Partners in Energy. <br />Your team can attend in -person events <br />with like-minded communities to share <br />best practices. We provide educational <br />opportunities that feature experts on <br />current energy topics or opportunities to <br />learn from each other. <br />Office Hours is a monthly webinar packed <br />with useful information. <br />Experts present on trending topics <br />— ranging from energy efficiency, <br />renewables or outreach — in an <br />environment that offers an opportunity to <br />ask questions and share experiences. <br />Commonly Asked Questions about Partners in Energy <br />Q. How can Partners in Energy benefit our community? <br />A. Partners in Energy provides your community with supplemental resources to drive <br />energy planning and implementation. Your community can reach a common vision for <br />your energy future, which can serve as a north star in making energy related decisions. <br />Or, it may provide a path forward to meet environmental commitments. Your community <br />is positioned as an environmental leader — and your businesses and residents are <br />provided the tools to help them reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save energy and <br />money. Recognition as a participating community and the resulting impacts can position <br />your community as a desirable location for new businesses and motivate local businesses <br />and residents to save energy and money and meet environmental commitments. <br />Q. What resources will the community need to provide? <br />A. Partners in Energy is designed to support your community in an initiative you <br />ultimately own. Your community is responsible for providing: <br />• A single point of contact to support planning, lead implementation and recruit other <br />community participants. <br />• Meeting space for any workshops for community -based work to develop an <br />energy action plan. <br />• A timely review of documents developed through this process. <br />• Any historical documents related to energy planning that are relevant to <br />our current work. <br />• Good faith evaluation of any recommendations that result from the collaboration. <br />• A commitment to keeping our work moving forward in a timely fashion. <br />Q. What will Partners in Energy cost our community? <br />A. The services Xcel Energy provides are free for participating communities within <br />our service territories in Colorado and Minnesota. Your community may identify <br />implementation projects and outreach activities that may require budget dollars. <br />If you are in a community served by Xcel Energy outside those states and interested <br />in energy planning, please contact us to discuss options. <br />Our portal is designed to provide storage <br />and access to documents related to your <br />community's work.
