<br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Meeting.Tuesday September 4th. 1951 at 2.00 P.M. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present <br />Carlson,Willmus, Mueller, Hammersten. Ira Karon Village Attorney and Frank <br />Leinen were also present. <br />of Aug. 21 <br />The Clerk read the minutes of the.previous regular meeting and two special <br />meetings ot'!ug:¡¡a22 and August 25 ............._.i and on motion by Mueller,seconded <br />by Carlson they were approved as read. <br /> <br />169 <br /> <br />The hearing on the re-zoning of the Sauers property was declared open. There <br />being no one present objecting to said re-zoning,Hammersten moved seconded by <br />Carlson the following property was rezoned,from Residence District "A" to Residence <br />District "Bn: <br /> <br />Lots One (1) through Ten(lO) ,inclusive, <br />Block Three,Gotttried,according to the <br />Plat thereof on file and of record in the <br />Office of the Register of Deeds,in and for <br />the County of Ramsey and state of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Roll Call -Ayes (4) Nayes- (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from Milner Carley on the Fuchs property and on mo~ion <br />by Mueller,seconded by Carlson the plat was ap;:rpved and easements acceptd. <br />Roll Call Jiyes-(4) Nayes (Q). <br /> <br />Mueller moved seconded by Willmus that we purchase the Check protector presented <br />by Mr. Fleming. <br /> <br />Cleri was asked to contact the Cou.'1ty Surveyor's office and have them set grade <br />stakes while establishing grade on Woerhle west of Lexington Ave in the Broadview <br />Addition of Chas. Krause. <br /> <br />Frank Leinen presented a blueprint of the pro.posed building on Dionne St being <br />erected by Mr. St.epnitz. <br /> <br />The Clerk was asked to write a letter to Mr. Ole Rice telling him to furnish a <br />bond for the 'W'a:ber pipe he constructed mlder:Ma1vern St. by Oct. 1st .1951 <br /> <br />Mueller moved seconded by Carlson that the Clerk write a letter to Husby's and <br />tell him to put in the catch basins across north lane of Ridgewood without furn- <br />ishing a bond. Roll call lIyes (3) Cåa:'J;son, Willmus ,Mueller, Nayes- (1) P..ammersten. <br /> <br />Discussion came u:t: about Sunset Memorial Cemetery lawsuit and conversation held <br />between Ira Karon Village Attorney and Mayor Mueller. Mueller moved, seconded by <br />Willmua that we engage the services of Karì Covell 95. -1st Nat '1 Soo Line Bldg. <br />to represent us on the cemeter,y case.
