<br />1 ROSEVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />2 MEETING MINUTES FOR <br />3 February 4, 2020 6:30 p.m. <br />4 <br />5 PRESENT: Arneson, Baggenstoss, Brown, Hei <br />6 Stoner <br />7 ABSENT: Carlson, Dahlstrom <br />8 STAFF: Brokke, Christensen, Harper <br />9 <br />10 1) INTRODUCTIONS <br />11 <br />12 2) ROLL CALL/PUBLIC COMMENT <br />13 <br />14 3) APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />15 llowing language after line number 148: <br />16 sharpshooters had a sense of how many deer <br />17 were out there, as some questions had been raised regarding the accuracy of the estimates from <br />18 our experts with the DNR and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Lonnie <br />19 Brokke replied that their sense was that there <br />20 that it sounds like our estimates from the experts were pretty accurate, and Mr. Brokke replied, <br />21 <br />22 Commissioner Newby moved to approve the minutes as amendment. Commissioner Brown <br />23 seconded. Motion passed unanimously. <br />24 <br />25 4) ETICS AND OUTDOOR FACILITIES <br />26 Ryan Harper, Recreation Supervisor with adult athletic and outdoor facilities focus introduced <br />27 himself to the Parks and Recreation Commission. He provided an overview and update on fields, <br />28 programs, associations and industry trends. <br />29 Athletic Fields: <br />30 o Softball, Baseball, Soccer, Lacrosse <br />31 Central Park Victoria, Central Park Lexington, Villa Park <br />32 Veterans, Langton Lake, Evergreen <br />33 Rosebrook, Dale St. <br />34 o Users include city recreation programs, affiliated groups, school groups, public and <br />35 private rentals <br />36 Youth Associations <br />37 o Relationship with City <br />38 City provides access to fields, promotional opportunities, mailing address, other <br />39 administrative support <br />40 Expectations of each Association include: <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
