From:Joe Hellman
Subject:Proposed Re-Zoning of County Road B
Date:Saturday, April 11, 2020 1:23:51 PM
Attachments:image001.png
Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution.
Hello – My name is Joe Hellman and I live in the Midland Hills neighborhood on the North side of Midland Hills
Country Club. I recently became aware of a proposal for five acres at 2395 County Road B to be rezoned from low
density residential-1 to medium density residential. The purpose of the rezoning is to build numerous single-family,
detached townhomes. Although, I live more than 500 feet away from the property, I feel this has a significant
impact to myself and my family. I think our area is underserved for parks and I believe this has been addressed in
both the Roseville 2030 and 2040 comprehensive plan. In addition, County Road B is falling apart and likely would
crumble with additional travel. This is our only through exit for the neighborhood so a vital roadway for all of us. I
feel this neighborhood is paying property taxes for parks and roads that we do not have the benefit within a half
mile and our roads are deteriorating.
I’m asking that the rezoning decision be delayed until this period of uncertainty passes and the neighborhood can
come together for a meeting to discuss this matter. I do not think a dense development is the right or safe answer.
Best,
Joe
joe hellman
