Motion <br />66 passed unanimously. <br />67 <br />68 8) STAFF REPORT <br />69 NEW OR RELEVANT COMMUNICATIONS AND UPDATES <br />Staff and the committee reviewing the Cedarholm Community Building and Golf Course <br />70 <br />71 Grill/Kitchen Service Request for Proposal are awaiting further information that has been <br />72 requested from the potential vendor. A final resolution isanticipated in the next few months. <br />As part of the deer reduction effort, 46 <br />73 deer have been reduced from the city. Of the total <br />74 deer, 23 were taken from north of Highway 36, and 23 were taken from south of Highway <br />75 Unfortunately, no deer were able to be removed from Ladyslipper Park. Future analysis <br />76 may look to include private property in the Ladyslipper Park area in order to provide relieffor <br />77 residents in the northeast quadrant of the city. The preliminary numbers from RamseyCounty <br />78 from their flyover show that the deer population in Roseville has increased to 59.Applying <br />79 the same math that the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the UnitedStates <br />80 Department of Agriculture (USDA) used previously to assess our population/reductionneeds, <br />81 it appears the next reduction may be around 80 deer. Additional <br />82 information will bebrought to the Commission as it is received from the USDA and Ramsey <br />County. <br />83 <br />84 Former Recreation Superintendent Lauren Deal has moved on to a job in the private sector. <br />85 Staff thanked her for all of her work in Roseville.
