<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date:June 22, 2020 <br /> Item No.: 7.b <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Public Hearing to Approve/Deny an On-Sale Wine and 3.2% Liquor License for <br />Roseville Pizza Company dba Parkway Pizza, located at 1909 Lexington Avenue <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Under City Code, a public hearing is required to consider approving liquor licenses for the current <br />3 calendar year. The City has received applications for the following: <br />4 <br />5 Roseville Pizza Company dba Parkway Pizza – On-Sale Wine and 3.2% Liquor License <br />6 Roseville Pizza Company dba Parkway Pizza – Permanent Outdoor Endorsement <br />7 <br />8 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />9 The regulation of establishments that sell alcoholic beverages has been a long-standing practice by the <br />10 State and the City. <br />11 F INANCIAL I MPACTS <br />12 The revenue that is generated from the license fees is used to offset the cost of police compliance checks, <br />13 background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license administration. <br />14 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION <br />15 The applicant meets all requirements set forth under City Code.
