Sustainable Roseville <br />What we've done <br />Sustainable City Award: League of MN Cities & GreenStep Cities <br />• Given to a single city that has implemented a project, program, or initiative that is helping <br />the city achieve its sustainability goals through implementation of one or more of the <br />GreenStep Cities program's 29 best practices. <br />• The winning city will receive a cash prize of $1,000, receive special recognition, and be <br />featured in League press releases and publications. <br />• Roseville applied for this award in May 2020, and showcased its initiatives in solar. <br />Specifically, Roseville highlighted: <br />• Solar panel installations at City Hall, the Fire Station, & Maintenance Facility <br />• Promotion of solar in the City <br />• Achievement of SolSmart Gold designation <br />• Easement of the solar permitting process for residents and businesses <br />Minnesota Achieving <br />LMC:LEAGUE GreenStep Cities sustainability <br />M I N N E S OTA C I T I E S through proven <br />best practices <br />
