Sustainable Roseville <br />What we've done <br />Roseville 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br />Chapter 9: Resilience and Environmental Protection <br />Goals: <br />• Environmental Protection: Protect, preserve, and enhance Roseville's water, <br />land, trees, and pollinators for current and future generations. <br />• Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Support Minnesota's Next Generation Energy A <br />ct goal of an 80 percent reduction in community -wide greenhouse gas <br />(GHG) emissions, from 2005 levels by 2050, through leading by example in <br />addition to education, incentives, and regulation to encourage action by <br />residents and businesses. <br />• Resilience: Take action to equitably reduce climate -related risks to City <br />residents. <br />• Renewable Energy: Support increased adoption of renewable energy by <br />protecting access to direct sunlight and supporting the development of local <br />renewable energy installations. <br />• Environmental Education and Outreach: Increase community awareness of <br />resilience and environmental protection issues. <br />
