We have provided the assumed number of units, cart pulls and dumpster pulls (where applicable) to show that gross cost to the City under each scenario is approximately the same. Eureka Recycling integrates the collections, management and overhead expenses of MUD and SUD units where possible to gain efficiencies and offer the lowest overall pricing to the City. Since we don't view these as independent programs, pricing offered in these scenarios is only valid as a whole scenario (i.e. both MUD and SUD pricing within each scenario). Pricing from different scenarios cannot be combined and all parts proposed within each scenario must be included for the proposed pricing to be valid. The main scenarios include: ➢ Scenario 1 Base Proposal): This proposal includes a SUD fee per household unit/month and an MUD fee based on each cart pull. This proposal includes servicing the approximately 36 dumpsters currently on the multifamily program. ➢ Scenario 2 (Alternative Proposal Including Dumpster Pulls): This proposal includes a SUD fee per household unit/month an MUD fee based on each cart pull and an MUD fee for each dumpster pull. ➢ Scenario 3: (Alternative Proposal Per Unit for both MUD and SUD): This proposal is similar to the current pricing structure for Roseville. All MUD and SUDS are charged the same fee per unit per month. ➢ All Scenarios Include the Following Annual Price Escalator: After the first year, and for all subsequent years, there would be a 2% cost -of -living price escalator for service fees. *Option for City Owned Carts: Eureka is able to offer city owned cart pricing for each option only if the City is able to purchase the existing carts from Eureka Recycling for $175,000. This offers the advantage for the City to own carts without having to deliver them or coordinate with residents. Given the investment Eureka Recycling has in these carts already, we are unable to offer a city owned cart pricing unless the city buys the existing carts from Eureka Recycling.
