4.07 Clothes and Textiles <br />Towels, sheets, blankets, curtains, tablecloths, rags, and clothes including: <br />belts, coats, hats, gloves, shoes and boots that are dry, clean and free of <br />mold, mildew and excessive stains. <br />4.08 Collection <br />The aggregation and transportation of recyclable materials from the place at <br />which they are generated including all activities up to the time when they are <br />delivered to a recycling facility. <br />4.09 Commodity <br />Any individual material, including specific industrial grade, as defined by <br />this Agreement. <br />4.10 Contractor <br />The City's recycling service Contractor under the new contract beginning <br />operation on January 1, 2017. <br />4.11 Corrugated cardboard (OCQ <br />Cardboard material with double wall construction and corrugated separation <br />between walls including boxes for delivery and take out pizzas. Does not <br />include cardboard heavily coated in plastic or, wax. <br />4.12 Curbside <br />The area of public right of way between the property line and the curb or <br />edge of the street, but not on the street. <br />4.13 Curbside recycling carts <br />Wheeled carts used as part of a single -stream collection system. If the <br />Contractor owns the carts, carts shall be consistent in colors and design with <br />a recycling symbol that is at least 4" tall on two sides and approved <br />instruction label on each lid, so as to be easily identified by the <br />resident/customer and the Contractor Driver as the container for recyclable <br />materials collection. <br />4.14 Curbside recycling service <br />The recycling collection services, specified in this RFP and the subsequent <br />contract, serving customers with recycling pickup at the curb or alley at their <br />residence. <br />4.15 Glass jars and bottles <br />Glass jars, bottles, and containers (lids/caps and pumps removed) that are <br />used for packing and bottling of food and beverages. <br />
