Attachment A <br />COVID-19 Update <br />CARES Act Federal Funding <br />The City is receiving $2.7 million from the <br />federal CARES Act to assist the city it its <br />direct costs to responding to COVID. <br />Eligible costs include expenditures for PPE, <br />extra cleaning, and social distancing <br />equipment <br />Some limited personnel costs are eligible <br />Cannot be used for revenue replacement <br />Also can be used to assist businesses and <br />provide rental assistance and homeowners <br />facing eviction or foreclosure due to COVID. <br />Roseville Community Development staff are <br />available to help businesses understand the <br />financial resources available to them <br />City staff will be bringing forward some <br />program ideas on business grant and housing <br />th <br />assistance programs to the July 20EDA <br />meeting <br /> <br />
