REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: July 13, 2020 <br />Item No.: 7.b <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Public Hearing to Approve/Deny an On Sale Liquor License for Cedarholm Golf <br />Course, located at 2323 Hamline Ave N. <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Under City Code, a public hearing is required to consider approving liquor licenses for the current <br />3 calendar year. On June 8, 2020 Council adopted Resolution No.11713; allowing the city to issue a liquor <br />4 license to Cedarholm Community Building. The City has received applications for the following: <br />5 <br />6 Cedarholm Golf Course, On Sale w/ Sunday Sales Liquor License <br />7 <br />8 P OLICY O BJECTIVE <br />9 The regulation of establishments that sell alcoholic beverages has been a long-standing practice by the <br />10 State and the City. <br />11 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION <br />12 The applicant meets all requirements set forth under City Code.
