<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Rose viI Ie, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 26th day of June 2001, at <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Mastel, Klausing, Maschka and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9899 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 14 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTIONS 1004.01E <br />OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 1803 VICTORIA STREET (PF 3311). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John and Laurie Conway have requested a variance to Section 1004.01E of <br />the Roseville City Code to allow a 14 foot encroachment into the required 30 foot front yard <br />setback; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Conway's are the owners of property located at 1803 Victoria Street, <br />legally described as: <br />Lot 6, Arthur E. Thorn Plat, Ramsey County, Minnesota (PID # 142923310014) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Conway's intend to construct a two stall garage onto the existing garage <br />(which will be converted into living space) that encroached 14: feet into the required front yard <br />setback or 24 feet from the front property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the DRC determined that the Conway's predominant front yard setback is <br />38 feet given the increased principal setbacks along this sectiop of Victoria Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Conway's request on June 13, 2001, at which hearing no citizens addressed the Commission <br />regarding the request; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended (7-0) approval of the <br />request for a 14 variance from Section l004.01E of the Roseville City Code to allow <br />construction of a garage addition into the predominant front yard setback based on the findings <br />of Section 3 and conditions in Section 4 of the project report dated June 13,2001; <br /> <br />1 <br />
