Racial Equity Update <br />Timeline <br />2017 2018 2019 2020 <br />A cohort of 14 City <br />employees attended <br />a year long training <br />with the Government <br />Alliance on Race and <br />Equity (GARE) <br />City included <br />inclusive community <br />and governance in <br />the Policy Priority <br />Plan (PPP) <br />Racial Equity Plan <br />was developed and <br />implemented. All City <br />staff received racial <br />equity training. <br />Racial Equity Toolkit <br />was first utilized. <br />City is currently working <br />towards hiring a <br />Diversity and Inclusion <br />consultant and the City <br />Manager's proposed <br />budget for 2021 includes <br />the creating of an Equity <br />& Inclusion Manager <br />position <br />
