Governor Orders Four-Week Dial-Back - 11-19-20 <br /> <br />Governor Tim Walz has ordered a four-week pause of most social activities, in-person dining, <br />sports, and indoor fitness activities to help slow the rate of spread of COVID-19 in Minnesota. <br /> <br />The four-week pause will be in place from Friday, November 20 at 11:59 p.m. through Friday, <br />December 18 at 11:59 p.m. While some businesses can continue to offer goods and services in <br />a safe manner, others will be required to adjust their operations to “to-go” or virtual services. <br /> <br />Visit the State of Minnesota Stay Safe Plan website for more specific information. The <br />Minnesota Department of Health has also developed a Summary of Executive Order 20-99. <br /> <br />In compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order 20-99, the City of Roseville will temporarily <br />adjusted its facilities, services and programming availability <br /> <br />Effective Saturday, November 21 allindoor recreational facilities and the Guidant John Rose <br />MN OVAL will pause operations. All recreational programs during this time will also be paused. <br />Updates on all facilities and activities will be provided as more information becomes available <br />at cityofroseville.com/parks. <br />The City of Roseville understand the importance of Parks and Recreation to our community’s <br />physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and are committed to offering independent, socially <br />distant opportunities as possible. <br /> <br />Activities that will remain available to residentsduring the four-week pause include: <br /> More than 60 miles of trails that are maintained year-round for walking, <br />running or riding. <br /> Golf at Cedarholm will remain open as long asweather conditions allow for <br />play. <br /> Cross country ski trails at Acorn Park and Cedarholm Golf Course will be <br />groomed as snow conditions allows. <br />o Cross country ski and snow shoe rentals will be available in mid- <br />December. <br /> Neighborhood skating rinks for use by members of the same household (as <br />weather allows). <br /> 32 different parks throughout the city, all offering unique environments and <br />play experiences. <br /> Virtual programming including “virtual adult trips,” a virtual holiday craft fair <br />and more. <br /> <br /> <br />
