Reject any or all proposals; <br />Reject parts of proposals; <br />Negotiate modifications of proposals submitted; <br />Accept part or all of the proposals on the basis of consideration(s) other than proceeds or <br />cost; and <br />Negotiate specific work elements with the preferred Respondent into a contract of lesser <br />or greater expense than described in this RFP or the Respondent's reply. <br />3.64.6 Respondents May Team with Other Companies <br />It is recognized that some prospective Respondents may wish to subcontract with other <br />companies for processing services. This may be allowed, as needed, but all such Contractor - <br />subcontractor relationships must be explicitly described in each proposal scenario. The City will <br />contract with only one primary Contractor for the recycling services. The City expects to have <br />one designated point of contact with the selected Contractor. <br />Multiple Respondents may team up with other complementary hauling or recycling companies, <br />provided there is no collusion. A company may be listed as a part of more than one team as long <br />as this company submits a written certification that no collusion occurred between competing <br />proposals. <br />3.74.7 RFP and Proposal to Become Part of Final Contract <br />The contents of this RFP, the successful proposal, and any written clarifications or modifications <br />to the contents thereof submitted by the successful Respondent and approved by the City in <br />writing shall become part of the contractual obligations and be incorporated by reference into the <br />ensuing Contract. If any provision of the contract RFP or proposal is in conflict, the Contract <br />takes precedence. <br />3.84.8 Requests that Selected Information be Held Confidential <br />It is the intention to maintain an open and public process in the solicitation, submission, review, <br />and approval of City procurement activities. Proposal records will not be released or available <br />for public inspection pri99jj to the award and full execution of the final Contract. After execution <br />of the final Contract, proposals submitted in conjunction with this RFP may become public <br />record and consequently, open for public inspection. If there are confidential or proprietary <br />sections of proposals which a Respondent requests be exempted from this requirement, <br />Respondent(s) must submit a cover letter and seal these proposal sections in a separate envelope <br />and segment these sections as a separate electronic file. Only items specifically referenced within <br />cover letter will be considered as potentially confidential. -If such a cover letter is not included <br />with your proposal, it will be assumed nothing is requested to be confidential. <br />RFP for City of RoseviRe Recytlmg Services .10 <br />
