After a final draft Contract has been negotiated, City staff will present a recommended Contract to the City Council. The City Council may then award the Contract and authorize staff to execute it. It is anticipated the new Recycling contract will be executed by approximately June 18, 2021, and collection operations under the new Contract will commence on January 1, 2022. Transition operations under the new Contract, such as cart switches and related public education, may occur prior to collection operations. 4.2 Assumptions to be used for Proposals The City shall use following assumptions for purposes of evaluating all proposals on the same basis: f 1%6, Annual recyclable tonnage collected curbside under the City contract = 3,300 tons per year. Annual recyclable tonnage collected at Multi -Unit Dwellings under the City contract = 600 tons per year. Single Unit Dwellings and other at receive cu service using curbside bins = 9,434 units. Multi -unit dwellings that will receive spec e collection service = 6,574 housing units at 94 locations. Njk%Wr 4.3 Proposal Contents Qualified proposals must include the Proposal Content Checklist (Attachment B) and all items listed on the checklist. 4.4 Proposal Evaluation Table 2 displays the proposal evaluation criteria and category weightings that will be used to score and rank proposals submitted. Respondents must meet minimum qualifications; this criterion will be evaluated on a "pass/fail" basis as determined by the relevant experience, references, and capacity.
