The Contractor's personnel will be trained in: program operations specific to Roseville's recycling program and this Contract and in customer service. The Contractor shall insure that all personnel maintain a courteous, professional, and positive attitude with the public and in the work place. The Contractor shall notify employees working within the City of its policies to promote racial and socioeconomic diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in all City services and contracted operations. The Contractor shall ensure that all personnel will adhere to the appropriate personnel conduct including but not limited to the following requirements: Conduct themselves at all times in a courteous manner and use no abusive, discriminatory, or foul language. The Contractor employee actions and communications shall be in compliance with the City's DEI policies. 2. Perform their duties in accordance with all existing laws, ordinances, and regulations; and future amendments thereto of the federal, State of Minnesota, and local governing bodies, including federal and state DOTS. Be clean and presentable in appearance, as so far as possible. 4. Wear a uniform and employee identification badge or name tag. 5. Drive in a safe, legal, and considerate manner. 6. Manage Recycling carts in a careful manner by picking them up, emptying their contents into the collection vehicle, and placing the container back in its curbside location with the lid closed, so as to avoid spillage and littering or damage to the cart. 7. Monitor for any spillage and be responsible for cleaning up any litter or breakage. 8. Avoid damage to property. 9. Only discard cigarette or cigar butts and tobacco ash in a proper receptacle on the collection vehicle. 10.
