<br />VILLAGE COm¡CIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Continued Ueeting Tuesday Evening !larch 10, 1953 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />303 <br /> <br />The Village Council met OR the above date as a continuation of the meeting <br />of Thursday, March 5th, Tlith the folloYfing meIlbers present: Carlsou, Vlillraus, <br />Mernbrez, Connor and Hal1ll11ersten. Don Carley was also present. <br /> <br />Wages for road crew were discussed for a short time along with wages paid <br />by t he County Surveyor Dept. and state Highway Dept. It was suggested that we <br />have Joe Koalska come in and discuss the matter with the Council and analyze <br />salary schedules that would have to be paid a road crew for this season's work. <br />Willmus was asked to get hold of Koalska and have him meet with us at L P.M. <br />~lesday March 17th. <br /> <br />Charles Krause appeared before the Council regarding his petition to rezone. <br />The trees dividing the lots are on the property line. There is room for a car <br />and plenty of room left, possibly 12 feet or more frOJ4 t he trees to the house. <br />Mr. Krause said he will é.gree to have a ten foot set-bac!<: on the west side of the <br />lot. <br /> <br />Mr. C. J. Lessard 19L4 Asbury Ave. appeared before the council with a <br />cOfilplaint about dogs. Every morning for the past two weeks, a pack of dogs have <br />been in his yard continuously, and any time of the day you go out in the yard, <br />the dogs are under foot. The last two mornings there have been 13 dogs in the <br />pack. The Clerk Was asked to mail a copy of the dog ordinance to Mr. Lessard. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Connor, that we recommend Ted Schultz as Assessor <br />from Roseville for this year. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that we approve tile specifications for <br />the fire truck wld advertise for bids to be opened on April 7, 1953 at 2:00 P.M. <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by HaulIlersten, that we advertise for bids for a door <br />for the north side of the building as per specifications submitted by the Village <br />Engineer and that the Slliae be opened on April 7, 1953 at 2:00 P.M. Roll call <br />Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Tho matter of two beer coolers for the liquor stores was discussed and <br />specifications were read that had been prepared by one firm. Carley stated that <br />New Brighton had recently purchased a cooler for their store and the Clerk was <br />asked to check with thH Clerk of New Brighton and secure a copy of their specifica- <br />tions and present it at our next meeting, Tuesday March 17th, so a date can be <br />set for advertising for same. <br /> <br />Harnmersten moved, Membrez seconded, that we ad,journ. <br /> <br />_ AA·1/~'VYØ7. vayor <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
