<br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Regular Meeting Tues. June 16, 1953 at 2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Carlson, Willmus, Connor and Hammersten. (Membrez absent) <br />Milner Carley, Village Engineer, and Ira Karon, Village Attorney, were <br />also present. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, seconded by Willmus, that the reading of minutes be <br />waived and approved according to cODies furnished each member of the <br />Council. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson, that the following streets <br />in Roseville Terrace Plats 2 and 3 be accepted as recommended by Vi11age <br />Engineer. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Simpson St. from Co. Rd. C2 to Lydia Ave. <br />Pascal Ave. from Co. Rd. C2 to Lydia Ave. <br />Albert St. from Co. Rd. C2 to Millwood Ave. <br />Sheldon St. from Co. Rd. C2 to Millwood Ave. <br />Lydia Ave. from Snelling Ave. to Hamline Ave. <br />Co~ Rd. C2 from Snelling Ave. to Hamline Ave. <br />Millwood Ave. from Pascal Ave. t.o Hamline Ave. <br /> <br />Connor moved, seconded by n&mmersten, that we invite the Navy Club <br />of the United States of America to Roseville to show their mobile ex- <br />hibit. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Connor moved, seconded by Willmus, that Hammersten and Car]son be <br />designated a committee of two to get a good location for the above event. <br />Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />The Plat known as Roberts Plat No.2 was presented for the Council's <br />approve.I. Connor moved, seconded by Willmus, that the above plat be <br />accepted as is. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Gonnor moved, seconded by C;arlson, that Willmus and Hammersten check <br />on gas pump installation and saving to be expectEd and report at next <br />meeting. Roll call Ayes-O¡) Nayes-( 0). <br /> <br />Jack Adamson presented a plan for a small restaurant at Fernwood <br />and Larpenteur for the Co~ncil's approval. Ha~ersten moved, seconded <br />by Carlson, that Adamson be given permission to erect the building. Roll <br />call Ayes-(4) N:>,./es-(O). <br /> <br />Carl~on moved, seconded by Hammersten, that $20,000 U.S. Certificates <br />of Indebtedness No. 16675 and 16676 be approved for the Village Treasurer. <br />Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O) <br /> <br />Hamrrlersten Moved, ~econded by Wi1lmus, that Ordinance #156 be adopted <br />subject to provisions as set forth. Roll call Ayes-(!,) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Karon reported that Sunset Memorial Park Association is back on tex <br />rolls for 19h9 and subsequent years. They had filed a petition for relief <br />and it was submitted to State Tax Commissioner who concurred in their re- <br />quest.
