Statement of Purpose: The LDR-1 District is designed to be the lowest density residential district. The 1324 <br />intent is to provide for a residential environment of predominantly low-density housing types, including 1325 <br />one-family dwellings, accessory dwelling units, two-family dwellings, and courtyard cottages, along 1326 <br />with related uses such as public services and utilities that serve the residents in the district. The 1327 <br />district is established to stabilize and protect the essential characteristics of existing residential areas, 1328 <br />and to protect, maintain, and enhance wooded areas, wetlands, wildlife and plant resources, and other 1329 <br />sensitive natural resources. 1330 <br />B.
