VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting Tuesday, November 17, 1953, 2:00 P.M. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Carlson, Willmus, Connor, Membrez, Hmnmersten, Carley, Village Engineer and Ira Karon, Village Attorney, were also present. Membrez moved, seconded by Carlson, that the minutes be accepted as they appear on the copies mailed each member. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-( 0). Mr. Van Krevelen presented the preliminary drawings for separation of Dale anò T.H. #36. Hamrnersten moved, seconded by Membrez that the following resolution be adopted. Roll call Aye~è-(5) Nayes-(O). RESOLUTION Approving the preliminary plan for the construction of Bridge No. 6724 on Highway No. 36, formerly Trunk Highway No. 118. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE: WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Highways proposes to make certain improvements in said Trunk Highway through said Village of ¡(oseville involving the location and construction of Rridge No. 6724 as shown on the general preliminary plan attached hereto, which said plan is presented herewith and made a part of this resolution: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said preliminary r:;lan for the location and construction of bridge No. 6724 on said Trunk Hie;hway through said Village be and the same is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER HESOLVED That when plans and specifications of said improvement on Trunk Highwa.;y No. 36-118 have been completed and slwmitted to this Council in accordance with the above proposal, the same will be a-oproved by further resolution. The clerk read the petition of Frances Matkaiti and the recommendation of the Zoning Board which recommended the rezoning. Mr. Matkaiti said the space would be usee! for parking cars. Membrez moved, Carlson seconded, the petition be granted and the following property be rezoned from Farm to Business: North 150 feet of the South 300 feet of the West ISO feet of the Southwest l of the Southwest i Sec. 12 T 29 R 23. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). Mr. Matterson appeared for Mr. Andrew Simon, the present owner of Tony's Nite Club, inquiring about the transferring of the licenses to Mr. Bona, 1691 Rice Street. The Clerk reported that he hRd called the Brewing Companies and they did not know Vr. ~cna anc1 ~\:}C" no crecli t established with them.
