Attachment B Regional Transportation Project Concept Design ReviewJanuary 5, 2022 Page 8 PRELIMINARY COST ESTIMATES Preliminary cost estimates were established for the concepts developed as part of this effort. The cost estimates include construction material costs based on the facility type, as well as account for potential pedestrian ramp/driveway apron modifications, utility relocations, tree removal, curb-and- gutter, and retaining walls, where applicable. The costs also include percentage estimates for engineering/design, parcel/right-of-way impacts, drainage, mobilization, and general contingency. Cost shown are in current year dollars. A summary of the preliminary cost estimate for each project is in Table 2.
