The department replaces an engine every five years. <br />(b)The replacement of the ladder truck was budgetted for 2021. The City was scheduled to take delivery of <br />the ladder truck in January of 2021 after it was used as a demo truck for 6 months. Due to the circumstances <br />involving the pandemic the truck was no longer needed for demos, allowing the City to take early delivery. <br />(c)This is an emergency replacement. This lift station was scheduled for rehabilition in 2025 but we have had <br />multiple pump failures that require the premature replacement of the pumps. We are not replacing the <br />Compost Turner as budgeted $290,000.
