1. The Act provides that the City may adopt the Housing Programupon the conditions <br />specified in theAct, including the holding of a public hearing following not fewer than fifteen (15) <br />days’ published notice. <br />2.Section147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and regulations <br />thereunder, further requires that, as a condition to the exemption from federal income taxation of <br />interest on all or a portion of the Bonds, a public hearing be conducted by the City on the proposed <br />issuance of the Bonds by the Issuer. <br />3. A public hearing on the Housing Program and the issuance of the Bondsis hereby <br />called and shall be held on Monday, October 12, 2020, at 6:00 P.M., at the City Hall. <br />4. The City Administrator shall cause notice of the public hearing, substantially in the <br />form attached as ExhibitB, to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at <br />least once not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the date fixed for the public hearing. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member <br />______________, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />2 <br /> <br />
