Attachment B <br />46 <br />47 WHEREAS, a metropolitan-area municipality can participate in the Local Housing <br />48 Incentives Account Program under Minnesota Statutes section 473.254 if: <br />49 (a) the municipality elects to participate in the Local Housing Incentives <br />50 Program; (b) the Metropolitan Council and the municipality successfully <br />51 negotiate new affordable and life-cycle housing goals for the municipality; <br />52 (c) the Metropolitan Council adopts by resolution the new negotiated <br />53 affordable and life-cycle housing goals for the municipality; and (d) the <br />54 municipality establishes it has spent or will spend or distribute to the Local <br />55 Housing Incentives Account the required Affordable and Life-Cycle <br />56 Housing Opportunities Amount (ALHOA) for each year the municipality <br />57 participates in the Local Housing Incentives Account Program. <br />58 <br />59 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of Roseville: <br />60 <br />61 1. Elects to participate in the Local Housing Incentives Program under the <br />62 Metropolitan Livable Communities Act for calendar years 2021 through 2030. <br />63 <br />64 2. Agrees to the following affordable and life-cycle housing goals for calendar years <br />65 2021 through 2030: <br />66 <br />Affordable Housing Goals Range Life-Cycle Housing Goal <br />78-142 400 <br />67 <br />68 3. Will prepare and submit to the Metropolitan Council a plan identifying the actions <br />69 it plans to take to meet its established housing goals. <br />70 <br />71 <br />72 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />73 <br />74 ___________, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />75 <br />76 <br />77 <br />78 and the following voted against the same: <br />79 <br />80 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />81 <br /> <br />
