Attachment A <br />Summary of substantive changes to the proposed 2021 Fee Schedule <br />Administration <br />General Business Licenses and Permit Fees: <br />Removed the following fees due to code changes; Amusement device, Bowling Alley, Game <br />Room, Pool & Billiards, and Theaters. <br />Reduced the Precious Metal Dealer from $10,000 to $3,000 after discussing enforcement with <br />Chief Scheider. <br /> <br />Parks & Recreation <br />General Business Licenses and Permit Fees: <br />The Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously recommended that: <br />Residential Park Dedication Rate increase from $4000 per unit to $4250 per unit. <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Commission annually reviews the rate in an effort to stay current. The <br />last recommended and enacted increase was for 2017. <br />The recommendation is largely based on several factors including the: <br /> Correlation to Roseville’s robust, quality Park and Recreation system <br /> Substantial previous and ongoing investments made <br /> Significant identified future investments outlined in the CIP <br /> Provision of an additional revenue source, amongst many; to help to meet <br />community expectations and better align with the 20 year Capital Improvement <br />Program (CIP) to avoid a situation of being underfunded <br /> Interests and needs identified in the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan <br /> Roseville Community Surveys that consistently indicate that citizens highly <br />value and desire an excellent park system <br /> Surrounding area community survey for comparison purposes <br /> Last increase was 2017- this recommended $250 increase represents a rounded <br />2% COLA each year over of the past 3 years when increases were not done <br /> <br />Public Works <br />General Business Licenses and Permit Fees: <br />All proposed changes are in response to growing costs. <br />Private Hydrant inspections <br /> 2020 2021 <br />1-4 $50 $75 <br />>4 (Each) $25 $25 <br /> <br /> <br />Permit and Plan/Project Review Fees: <br />Erosion Control inspection permit <br />Less than 1 acre $625 $1000 <br />1-5 acres $900 $1500 <br />More than 5 acres $1400 $2000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
