Attachment A 1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 5* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 6 7Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City th of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 4 8 day of January 92021, at 6:00 p.m. 10 11 The following members were present: 12 13 and the following were absent: 14 15 Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 16 17 RESOLUTIONNo. 18 19RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT WEED INSPECTOR 20 21WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 2, requires the mayor of each city to act 22as local weed inspector of the municipality; and 23WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 3, allows a municipality to appoint one 24 or more assistants to act on behalf of the appointing authority as a weed inspector for the 25 municipality; and 26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 27 THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA the appointment of the City of Roseville 28 Community Development Department Building Official as Assistant Weed Inspector for 29 the municipality. 30 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 31 Council Member 32 33 and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: 34 35 and the following voted against the same: none. 36 37 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 38 39 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT WEED INSPECTOR 40 41 STATE OF MINNESOTA ) 42 ) ss 43COUNTY OF RAMSEY )
