I am the <br />owner/operator of B-Dale Shell at 2164 Dale Street, and feel I am being punished for operating a <br />business within the city of Roseville. I have been a tax paying proprietor here for almost thirteen years, it <br />is my only site, my only job and also the only source of income for four of my six employees. If this <br />ordinance is enacted that will definitely have to change. It may be so detrimental that I have to leave <br />altogether. At best I will have to cut hours and slash pay for my employees. <br />This proposed ordinance is entirely unnecessary if its true purpose is to prevent youth from starting a bad <br />habit. First of all, the law has just recently changed to twenty-one years of age to purchase. That should <br />be given more time to see the effect it will have on youth smoking. The law is already there, we do not <br />need any more regulations. Twenty-one is definitely an age where an individual is capable of making <br /> <br />
