<br /> RFP for City of Roseville Recycling Services  A-6 <br />2 General Requirements for All Collections <br />2.1 Service Requirements <br />The Contractor shall provide comprehensive recycling services described herein and as described <br />in the proposal. Collection shall occur bi-weekly on the day of the week designated in Exhibit A, <br />“Recycling Zones Map.” Contractor may submit an alternate bid for weekly collection. <br /> <br />2.2 Collection Vehicle Equipment Requirements <br />All vehicles must be clearly identified on both sides with Contractor’s name and telephone <br />number. In addition, all collection vehicles used in performance of the Contract shall: <br /> <br /> Be duly licensed and inspected by the State of Minnesota; <br /> Operate within the weight allowed by federal and Minnesota statutes and local road <br />weight limits; <br /> Be Minnesota Department of Transportation (DOT)-compliant at all times; <br /> Be leak-proof; <br /> Be maintained to operate within acceptable residential neighborhood noise levels; and <br /> Be kept clean and as free from offensive odors as possible. <br /> <br />Each Collection vehicle shall be equipped with the following: <br /> <br />1. Two-way communications device; <br />2. First aid kit; <br />3. All safety equipment required by federal, State of Minnesota, and local governing <br />bodies, including federal and State (DOTs); <br />4. Universal spill kits, or other appropriate equipment for cleaning up spills and/or <br />leaks; and <br />5. Receptacle for driver’s cigarette or cigar butts, tobacco ashes, and chewing tobacco <br />residue. <br />2.3 Personnel Requirements <br />Contractor shall retain sufficient personnel and equipment to fulfill the requirements and <br />specifications of this Contract. The Contractor will provide a route supervisor to oversee the <br />recycling route drivers servicing the City. The route supervisor will be available to respond to
