Ware are committed to <br />37 promoting respectful conduct, equitable services and diversity in our community. We condemn <br />38 discrimination by or against residents, visitors, workers, city employees, or city businesses. In all that <br />39 we do as a City government, we pledge to treat everyone fairly, respectfully, and without bias, <br />40 regardless of their color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, marital status, familial status, <br />41 immigration status, sexual orientation, age, income, or disability. <br />42 <br />43 While not listed as an aspiration, the Inclusion and Respect Statement provides important guidance for <br />44 City programs and services. <br />45 <br />46 Policy Priority Plan ThePolicy Priority Plan (PPP) was first adopted late in 2015 as a guiding <br />47 document for work to occur in 2016. The PPP was an outcome of the two-day strategic planning <br />48 process that the City Council and Departments undertook in 2015. The PPP has been updated several <br />49 times since then, with the most approved document dated August 12, 2019. <br />50 <br />51 The current strategic priorities and initiatives of the PPP are as follows: <br />52 <br />53 Economic Development <br />54 Foster Twin Lakes Redevelopment <br />55 Facilitate City-wide Economic Development <br />56 Advance Rice/Larpenteur Alliance Plan <br />57 Inclusive Community and Governance <br />58 Continue Imagine Roseville Efforts and follow through with outcomes <br />59 Implement Racial Equity Plan <br />60 Create Community Engagement Toolkit <br />61 Public Improvements <br />62 Increase Pedestrian Connectivity and Safety <br />63 Improve Storm Water Facilities <br />64 Expand Transit Connections <br />65 Housing <br />66 Housing in Roseville Meets All Identified Needs (Housing Style/Type, Affordability, Availability, <br />67 Market Needs) <br />68 Environmental Sustainability <br />69 Reduce City’s Carbon Footprint <br />70 Increase Green Step City Step Certification Level <br />71 <br />72 Organizational Priorities Starting in 2016, for the 2017 budget process, the City Manager and <br />73 Department Heads crafted the Organizational Priorities to help inform budget requests. The <br />74 Organizational Priorities are informed by the City’s Mission Statement and Community Aspirations, the <br />75 most recent community survey, and the PPP, as well as staff’s observation of needs in providing the <br />76 City’s programs and services. The organizational priorities are presented as part of the annual budget <br />77 process and are used as validation and justification for budget requests and allocation of resources.
